These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the website, web app and mobile app of FOAID (Festival of Architecture & Interior Designing) (together, “FOAID”, the “Platform”) and any registration, programme or service you book through it. The Platform is owned and operated by Coalesce Eventz India Private Limited (“Company”, “we”, “us”, “our”). By using the Platform or paying for any service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
1. About our services
FOAID is a festival of architecture and interior design that brings together architects, interior designers, students and brands through conferences, exhibitions, installations, competitions and networking. Through the Platform you can:
- register for FOAID exhibitions and receive a digital visitor pass;
- use the FOAID attendee app (schedule, venue map, networking, event photos);
- apply for The FOAID Ripple Club, a curated, invitation-led programme of 1-on-1 meetings between architects and brands, which carries a refundable registration fee of ₹1,000.
2. Eligibility and accounts
- You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract under Indian law.
- Information you give us must be true, complete and current. We may refuse or cancel a registration that contains false or misleading information.
- You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your sign-in codes and links private.
3. The FOAID Ripple Club
- Selection. Applications are reviewed by the FOAID curation team. Submitting an application or paying the fee does not guarantee selection. Selection is at the Company’s sole discretion and seats are limited.
- Registration fee. A refundable registration fee of ₹1,000 (inclusive of applicable taxes, if any) is payable to confirm your application. Refunds are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
- Meetings. Selected members commit to completing 30 scheduled 1-on-1 brand meetings during the event. Meetings are verified through QR check-in on the FOAID app at each booth.
- Travel and stay. Flight reimbursement is capped at ₹10,000 for domestic economy travel and is subject to ticket verification and completion of all 30 verified meetings. Accommodation is provided for one night at a 4-star hotel on a twin-sharing basis, subject to flight ticket verification. Upgrades, extra nights, meals outside the programme and incidental expenses are your own responsibility.
- Conduct. Members are expected to attend meetings on time and treat brand representatives and staff with courtesy. We may withdraw membership for misconduct, misrepresentation or misuse of the programme, in which case the fee and reimbursements may be forfeited.
4. Prices and payments
- All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR). The price payable is shown on the Platform before you pay.
- Payments are processed by our payment partners (such as Razorpay and UPI apps / banks). We do not see or store your card details, net-banking credentials or UPI PIN.
- A payment is treated as received only once it is confirmed in our account. We may ask for the UPI transaction ID (UTR) or a screenshot to match your payment.
- If a payment is debited but not confirmed, or you are charged twice, please contact us — such amounts are refunded as set out in the Refund & Cancellation Policy.
5. Cancellation and refunds
Cancellation and refund terms are set out in our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
6. Delivery of services
Our services are delivered digitally and in person at the event. See our Shipping & Delivery Policy.
7. Changes to the event
Event dates, venue, schedule, speakers and participating brands may change for reasons including safety, government directions or circumstances beyond our control. We will inform registered participants of material changes by email, WhatsApp or the app. If the Company cancels the Ripple Club programme for an edition, registration fees paid for that edition are refunded in full.
8. Photography and media
FOAID events are photographed and filmed. By attending you agree that you may appear in event photos and videos that we publish on the Platform and our channels to promote FOAID. Photos are also made available to attendees in the app’s Memories section, where you can find photos of yourself using an optional face scan (see our Privacy Policy). If you would like a specific photo of you removed, contact us.
9. Content and intellectual property
- The FOAID name, logo, Platform design and content are owned by or licensed to the Company and may not be copied or used without written permission.
- When you post content (such as photos or project images) on the Platform, you confirm you have the right to do so and grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display it on the Platform and in FOAID communications.
- You must not upload unlawful, infringing, offensive or misleading content, attempt to disrupt the Platform, scrape data or misuse other users’ information.
10. Third-party services
The Platform links to or uses third-party services (payment gateways, messaging, maps, airline and hotel partners, exhibitor websites). We are not responsible for their content, policies or services.
11. Limitation of liability
The Platform and services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Company is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for loss arising from events beyond our reasonable control (force majeure), including natural events, epidemics, strikes, transport disruption or government action. Our total liability for any claim relating to a paid service is limited to the amount you paid for that service.
12. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify the Company against claims arising from your breach of these Terms or misuse of the Platform.
13. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Mumbai, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, subject to applicable consumer protection laws. We encourage you to contact us first so we can try to resolve any concern amicably.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new “last updated” date. Continued use of the Platform means you accept the updated Terms.
